Tincleton East Farm

The two farms, known as Tincleton East and Tincleton West are situated 4 miles east of Dorchester adjoining the Dorchester to Pallington road. The total farm area is 6 acres spread over 16 beds and is split either side of the village road. Tincleton East was originally built in 1972 by Charles Barter, while Tincleton West was built by his father in the 1930ís. Tincleton Farm has recently undergone substantial improvements including overhead irrigation. This farm was once used to produce winter watercress aided by large scale cloches.
